ABSTRACT

The conductance of [III] complexes of acetylpyri-dinethiosemicarbazone halides were measured in ethanol-water mixtures covering a range of dielectric constant 24.33 < D < 78.54 at 25C. The conductance parameters derived from the Fuoss-Onsager conductance theory indicate that the solvation of these halides decreases with the decrease of the dielectric constant until a certain minimum and then increases again. The plots of log Ka vs. 1/D are not linear indicating that the solvent separated-ion pairs in these systems are characterized by strong hydrogen bonding

ABSTRACT

The Present study was conducted to evaluate the contradicting views concerning the optimal hemodialysis policy. These contradictions come from the two opposing views of the consumer [patient] and the provider [medical planner]. This study was based mainly upon the economic evaluation for the expenditure required to treat the chronic renal failure

ABSTRACT

The aim of this work is to criticize the available formulas and utilizing such as formulas with a correction factor to develop new formulas with a correction factor to develop a new formula for blood viscosity. Also, some of viscosity syndromes are presented

ABSTRACT

The nature of many kidney diseases is still unknown and so the therapy. The reasons for such uncertainty are numerous but, the most important is the great difficulty to study events successfully in the cellular level and the inaccurate results for experiments obtained at such level. So many of the phenomena which cause disease are still unknown and subsequently they are the subject of many contradicting theories. The strong tools of modeling is now adapted to predict concentration profile along the ascending limb of Henle. The reason for such a choice lies in its difference from that of the descending limbs as being performing active transport and satisfying requirements of modeling. It is greatly similar to plug flow reactor in nature

ABSTRACT

Renal functions are affected by so many factors of which is renal circulatory dynamics. This latter factor affects membrane process, kidney filtration as well as different stresses on vessel wall. The following paper presents the possible pathways leading to renal disease without quantitative treatment. The suggested pathways constitute a conceptual scheme for the sequence of events that leads to renal disease. Each separate step is confirmed by literature or mathematical tools, yet, a few of them were suggested for the conceptual setting to be build up
